I’ve spent most of my career somewhere between design, web, strategy, production, and project management, which is probably why Bishop Design Works ended up becoming a little bit of all of those things.
I started BDW in 2018 with a pretty simple idea: provide the quality and experience of a good agency without all the layers, overhead, and unnecessary complexity.
Most projects are led directly by me, and when additional expertise is needed, I bring in people I’ve worked with and trusted for years, including developers, designers, writers, photographers, and other specialists. That lets us build the right team for the job instead of forcing every project through the same fixed structure.
A lot of our work centers on websites, from early discovery and content planning through design, development, launch, training, and ongoing support. We also take on branding, identity, presentations, print, and other creative work when it makes sense.
Some clients come to us directly. Others are agencies, consultants, and internal marketing teams that need an experienced creative or web partner behind the scenes.
Either way, the goal is pretty much the same: do strong work, communicate well, stay flexible, and make the process easier than it needs to be.
